Hoop/Fyke/Trap Nets:
Nets which are cylindrical or rectangular in shape and are held open
by a series of round "D" shaped, or rectangular hoops.
Attracted by bait in the rear of the net, fish will swim into the net
through netting funnels (throats), and cannot swim back out. The
fish are then removed from the end of the trap. |
