Monofilament Netting

These lantern nets are designed for culturing scallops, clams, mussels, and oysters.  Some farmers also use them to culture small fish as well.  They are made of vinyl coated wire frames with polyethylene hanging ropes holding the tiers together.  They are collapsible and easy to operate and store.  Each tier is wrapped with either 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, or 9mm polyethylene raschel netting, 38cm diameter and 50cm diameter with 5 tiers.  10 tiers or 15 tiers.  Meshes larger than 9mm are also available in knotted nettings.

These lantern nets are similar to the round lantern nets, but the shape is different.  The size is 40cm in diameter with 5 tiers and 10 tiers.  Each cage has a door along one side and is held closed with two clips.  Meshes larger than 9mm are also available in knotted nettings.
